Please make sure to measure your placement area and be prepared to spend some time with your animal for training purposes. Your pet is only as trainable as your patience level. If your pet seems a little intimidated by the pet steps or just can't figure out how to use them, we recommend the use of a treat or treats to be placed on each step leading to bed ,couch or windowsill. The one word command STEP during the is also helpful. The dog steps & cat steps should never be placed higher than the furniture he or she is trying to reach. Flush placement is only recommended for handicapped or elderly pets. It is a pets natural instinct to climb they travel in perpetual motion with at least 1 paw up and active at all times, Therefore the dog step should be placed at least 1 step height below the placement area. The step heights on the standard 3,4,5 & 6 step, pet steps are 4.5 inches. The Big Dawg 2 & 3 step height is 8" per step. Not recomended for puppies or kittens that chew or agressive pets. Please do not allow children to play on the pet stairs.

These stairs are excellent! This is my second order after 9 years from my original order. They are very sturdy and comforting at the same time. I have a miniature dachshund. I have two other set of their stairs one in my bedroom and one in my daughter's room which I also purchased originally 9 years ago.

Couldn't ask for a better set of stairs. Had some like these for nearly 10 years. My girls deserved the best!

My Ragdoll boy had to have surgery on both hind legs. After 3 months he is able to walk, even run a little but he is not able to jump up onto furniture or his cat towers.
I bought a different step for for him to get up onto the bed and he is having a little hard time using it, they are harder to get up, having 2 inch higher steps.
Then I saw the PetStairz and I thought I will get them a try so he has something to climb up to get onto the chairs or towers in the living room.
My boy LOVES them steps. He is 14 lbs and he has no problems getting up or down to his chair with his snuggle blanket and he is soooo glad to get away from them cold floors.
This steps came wrapped nicely in plastic and packed in a sturdy box, not damaged.
I received the steps within 4 days.....great!
They are pretty sturdy, light weight, so I can move them easily around, do not wobble and the important thing......make my baby feel safe using them.
Thank you for a great product!

My PetStairz finally gave out, so I purchased another one. It had lasted many years.

I have two sets of stairs: 6-step and 4-step. My cat has arthritis and is partially blind,. He immediately started using the 6-step stairs - he likes to sleep on our office table. He sometimes has to feel around a bit for the stairs but he hasn't fallen. He climbs up on the bed by sinking his claws into the bedspread, so the 4-step stairs saves our bedspread and are the perfect height for him to get up easily. I like that the cover comes off for cleaning. They're expensive, but I don't regret having spent the money.

These have saved us from having to pick up the dogs and put them on the couch or take them off.
